My daughter loves books, and every night we read a few stories before she goes to sleep. She has her favorites, and I have mine that I like for her to hear. Well, now she has a new favorite from Secret Mountain Books. We received three beautifully illustrated books to review, each with it’s own music cd with songs you will love. Her, and my favorite of the three is A Duck In New York City. It has a wonderfully positive message disguised in an adorable book about a duck wanting to travel to New York. After all the obstacles he encounters, his heart continues to tell him “Yes You Can.” She asks for it every night now. All the songs are new to us, but that’s ok, the lyrics are included at the back of each book.
The next book we received was Down at the Sea Hotel, another really cute book. The cd includes songs from artist such as Billy Joel, Carol King, and Don Henley, just to name a few.
And lastly, Dream Songs Night Songs from Belgium to Brazil. Lullabies sung in the country of origin and the story is in English, Spanish, and French. Go check out all the great books available from Secret Mountain Books HERE.
