Kids Craft Creation Cottage- Review and Giveaway!!

I don’t know if everyone’s kids are like mine, but it seems like anytime they get anything new, they have more fun playing with the box it came with instead of the toy itself! I remember one day, after getting my 18 month old a new car seat she spent weeks playing in her new “playhouse”. We even put wrapping paper on it to jazz it up and put doors and windows in it! She loved it! A cardboard box- ahh. An ingenious idea that soon became a plaything that won itself into the National Toy Hall of Fame! A box can really be whatever your child can dream up in their minds. So Kid Craft Playhouses have created spacious, sturdy, eco-friendly playhouses that your little kiddos will love! We received from Kids Craft Playhouses, a Creation Cottage for our review. The Creation Cottage came with easy to follow instructions- my 3 year old helped me put it together. No cutting, measuring, or taping required, just flaps and slots. They were easy enough to fit together, just make sure you pull them all the way through or they will come out. In no time at all we had the sides, roof, and oh yeah, the super cute chimney on. It has windows and a door pre cut so you don’t have to do anything except fit it together and let your child’s imagination run wild! My daughter is into princesses right now, so of course we had to decorate it with princess A and L and Queen Mommy and King Daddy. Lots of trees and butterflies, birds and a castle! Both of my girls had so much fun decorating their new playhouse. It is spacious enough inside for my two girls and a couple of friends at a time.

Overall, it has withstood a good beating! My 18 month old is extremely rough and has tried her hardest to rip the door off! But it’s stil attached! The only place that it seems to be a little fragile is the flap underneath the door, I have had to tape it a few times because the girls think the door is supposed to swing inward instead of out and it has gotten caught up on the flap and ripped . Otherwise it is as sturdy as can be. My girls and their friends have tons of fun playing in their Creation Cottage from Kids Craft Playhouses and your kids can too! I am also fascinated by the Space Shuttle as I do volunteer work for NASA. When I was little, I remember that the girl next door got a fancy kitchen set for Christmas. Well, I had wanted one and decided that I would make my own. That is what I did. I made my own kitchen set out of boxes from my dad’s store. I probably took more pride in my kitchen set than the girl next door.
