iTikes Map Review and Giveaway!!!

The kids nowadays are definitely more tech savy than I was at their age!! When I was my girls age I don’t even know if I knew what a phone was, much less an iPhone, apps, iPads, etc.  My girls can navigate through my phone and computer like it was a notebook!!  Since I am homeschooling my girls, it is always nice to find a great toy/game that teaches them things that they need to know in school that is also fun for them.  The iTikes Map was the absolute perfect choice for my girls.  Not only does the iTikes Map inspire a  passion for learning with real-world subjects and kid-friendly App content, but it so fun!!! .

We received the iTikes Map for my girls to try out and I was so amazed at how fast they picked up on the different maps.  The solar system was the first one that my oldest tried.  She learned the entire solar system in less than a week!! I was amazed because she had just been playing around with it herself, I wasn’t forcing the learning.  When her “teacher” arrived for her monthly visit, I was shocked when she recited the entire solar system for her!!! Talk about a proud parent  moment!!! What is great about this map is that you can use it with or without an iPhone or iPod touch.

World Cats!!

 All the maps are augmented reality enabled adding an extra dimension of learning and excitement.   The map is sturdy plastic with 6 different maps, a carrying strap, cases for an iPhone and iPod touch, and smart pen!!  This is an amazing toy that I am sooo happy that my girls have!!  The map has quizzes and games, fun facts, and 3 different difficulty levels so both of my girls can play!!
