I have struggled with my hair since I can remember. My “best” memory of a bad hair day was when I was 14 sporting an afro for a very important occasion because I didn’t know how in the world to tame my unruly tresses. I’ve tried a flat iron or two in my day and have to admit I haven’t been too thrilled with the ones I have tried. They either burn my hair and leave it super damaged, or do nothing at all. I was looking a Hot Mess, before using it too, I put off straightening my hair until it arrived, to really test it out! I was a bit skeptical since the flat iron was only 1″- how good could this really work, and seriously, how LONG is it going to take to straighten all this hair! I have 2 kids 3 and 1, I don’t have all day to fix my hair, let’s be honest, as I’m writing this, I haven’t even had a chance to brush my teeth!
