I know at least when I was growing up, kids seem to really find it hard to relate to their grandparents. Even though I lived extremely close to my grandparents, I can’t ever really remember playing around and having tons of fun with them. I love them tremendously, but going on adventures and having a blast just wasn’t something you did at grandma and grandpa’s house. My girls don’t really get to see their grandparents as often as I would like them to because we live so far away, so I would like the time they spend to be memorable. Well, there is a great company out there that has produced a n awesome line of books, CDs and accessories that aim to nurture a love of imaginative play and adventure within the family. We received for our review the Here We Go! Storybook and Music CD Fun Pack. A beautifully Illustrated book that sends three children on treasure hunt with their grandparents in their backyard. Using a compass that sends them to far away places collecting pages in their grandmas journal. They meet different types of families and learn about different traditions. This wonderful book will inspire fun and activities between grandparents and their grand kids.
With games, puzzles, and treasure hunts, your kids are going to be begging to go visit grandma and grandpa. The accompanying “Here We Go!” CD has 10 songs that include jazz, reggae, bluegrass and more so it is appealing to young and old alike. Their grand kids are the ONLY things that would get my parents up dancing and singing for sure!! It’s amazing how grandchildren change your parents!
