I know after my baby was born and she began to start to want to eat regular food, I had a lot of questions as to what she should eat and how much of it she actually needed. Even after consulting her pediatrician, I still had many questions. I came across the Baby Bistro Brands website and after receiving the Baby Bistro Box, found a lot of answers . I love how everything is laid out so easy……… (more…)

Winter is almost here and it is time to start taking steps to fight the dry skin that comes with it. I thought as a nurse I washed my hands alot, but after I had my baby I think I must wash my hands about a hundred times a day. Now, its definitely starting to take a toll on my skin. I received Gloves in a Bottle three days ago and already I can tell a difference. My knuckles had begun to crack and between my fingers were very dry even after applying lotion. But since I started using Gloves in a Bottle, my skin is so much softer, and the cracks are gone. This baby gear is a must have for any parent. I know I sound like an infomercial or something, but this stuff really works! My husband who also is a nurse started using it and he loves it as well. How does it work you might ask? (more…)

I have a new piece of baby gear for you!!! The Baby Light and Clip was created by new mom, Laurie, who struggling to trim her baby’s nails, and after doing internet research wondered, Why doesn’t someone make a nail clipper with a light on it so we can see our baby’s tiny nails in the dark while they are sleeping? I think it’s brilliant. I received mine in the mail yesterday, just in time, my daughters nails needed clipping badly, and she is a very active 11 month old. So clipping her nails while she is awake is almost impossible, and she rarely naps for long. So I thought I’d give it a try, what could it hurt? (more…)

I only wish I had known about Milk Bands baby gear when my daughter was first born. Trying to remember which side I nursed on last was almost impossible, especially in the middle of the night. Milk Bands are made to give you information about your baby’s feeding: like which breast you nursed on last, or also has a handy little time tracker that records your last feeding session, the number of times your baby nursed during the day, what time, how many dirty diapers, and also helps to wean. This is new mom must have baby gear! (more…)

Have you ever wanted to give medication to your little one with a little less stress. Then you need to check out Reliadose from Blaine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. It was invented by a mother who wanted to give medication to her child more accurately when mixing it with fluids. How does it work you might ask? This bottle has a hollow center with a medicine syringe that goes to the nipple. You measure the child’s medication, and then fill up the bottle with whatever liquid you are going to use, and then put on the nipple top! The chamber keeps everything separate until it gets to your little ones mouth. Hopefully masking the flavor of the medication. As you know doctors don’t recommend mixing medication in babies bottles. So with Reliadose you know just how much medicine the child took. Check out their website here to order, and see their full instructions and recommendations. Very cool device!!
