OK, so why didn’t I come up with this idea? Well, fortunately for us, someone did. June Johnson, creator of Mommie, Get A Grip, mother of three and grandmother to ten, has changed her fair share of mattress linens. Seeing how difficult it is at times to grab a hold of the mattress, she came up with the idea to make a product to make it a lot easier for moms to change crib linens. The Mommie Get A Grip mattress handler. (more…)

This little invention will save many moms a lot of worry and stress during those precious months of pregnancy. The Baby Kick -Kick Trak was created by obstetrician Dr. Diep Nguyen, to help keep a record your baby’s kicks from 24 weeks. It’s safe, non-invasive, and sure beats keeping up with those kick count papers. I can remember at 38 weeks I had to count and record my baby’s movements for my doctor, I can’t tell you how many times I lost that sheet of paper. Now you don’t have to worry about loosing papers any longer. (more…)

Do your kids watch way too much TV? According to Johns Hopkins University, a reduction in TV viewing is vital to preventing behavioral problems in children. And really, the quality of programs available now is very poor. The only thing I will let my baby watch is Mommy and Me and Baby Signing Time right now, both of which are excellent for parent child interaction. But if your kids are a little older and watch a lot more TV, BabyGearToday.com has a great product for you. TV Time. (more…)

For me, one of the hardest parts of nursing my baby was always trying to find a discreet place to feed her. While in public, it is very hard sometimes to find a sanitary place to feed your baby. So often times, I found myself alone in the car, or stuck in a dressing room at a department store feeding my baby. If that wasn’t an option, I was left fumbling around with a heavy blanket. And as a rule, I don’t think many babies are too thrilled with having a heavy blanket over their little heads, so most pull it off, leaving you exposed to the world. I am so glad that Bebe au Lait have created these beautiful nursing covers. (more…)

Are you tired of dragging around a big blanket everywhere you go just to nurse your baby? We all know how difficult it is to keep the blankets from falling off, or your baby from pulling it off while your nursing. Or worse, are you like me and your baby won’t even let you put that blanket anywhere near their head. My daughter absolutely refuses to let me cover her head with a blanket. I’m so glad L’ovedbaby has come up with this great nursing shawl. It is very lightweight, made of Ultrasuede, very breathable, and because it’s so lightweight you don’t have to worry about your baby or you getting overheated. Unlike most nursing covers, (more…)

I am absolutely in love with Noddle & Boo’s products. Where to begin? The Essential Care Kit for babies is absolutely wonderful. It contains travel sized daily essentials for your baby. Soothing Body Wash, Super Soft Lotion, and Extra Gentle Shampoo. The Super Soft Lotion is my favorite of the three. It has a very light, very delicious scent. I am very particular on what I put on my baby’s skin, so of course I tried it on myself before I would use it on her. (more…)
