It was perfect for the 3 year old, she is at the age where she loves to show her creativity in her drawings. One side of the easel is a chalk board, which my daughter loves, the other side, a dry erase board. The paper roller is positioned on the top of the easel making it easily accessible and allows the easel to fold easily for storage.
We keep our easel in our girls playroom so they can express their creativity whenever they would like to. The double trays allow them to store their craft items and are available in natural and red colors. We did have to assemble it, but it was super easy to put together, Within minutes, my daughter was drawing princesses and castles on her new easel.
