Baby Genius Toys- Review and Giveaway

My girls definitely have quite a few toys, what can I say, I am definitely a sucker when it comes to the two of them.   They both are pretty good at playing together, minus the occasional fight over a certain toy or two.  I was super excited to be able to review a few toys from the Baby Genius toy line.

Baby Genius is a fantastic company whose mission is to bring music based toys that are not only entertaining but educational and beneficial to the well being of infants and children as well. Knowing that music is the driving force in in growth and development, Baby Genius toys feature music to help encourage communication, connectivity, expression, and discovery. We received Old McVinko’s Musical Farm for our little ones to review. Let me start of by saying- they LOVED it! I let my 3 year old pick which toy she wanted, she narrowed it down to the musical broom or Old McVinko’s Musical Farm. A hard decision for a 3 year old, all of their toys were so inviting, it was hard for me to choose. When it arrived she was super excited. This toy is great because both of the girls could play together, without fighting, there were plenty of pieces to go around. It comes with 10 pieces, all the animals you’d expect on a farm and few unexpected ones as well. Some of the animals are the farm friends from their DVD’s- Vinko, Frankie, Tempo, and DJ. You can open the barn door to hear the Old McVinko song, watch the farm friends go around on a motorized platform, and roll the bar on the side. You may even hear an oink or two! My girls loved playing with it so much, they ran the batteries out in no time! The handle on the top of the farm makes this fun toy portable- able to take along wherever.

The next thing we were able to review were Baby Genius wonderful CD’s. We chose the Favorite Toddler Tunes. It is a 2 CD pack that includes 40 different songs, over 1 hour of listening fun! With songs like If your happy and you know it, Shoo Fly, London Bridge, and This Old Man, your little one will have plenty of songs to choose from. My girls are pretty particular when it comes to their music. They usually want to listen to the local radio station, but ever since we started listening to th Favorite Toddler Tunes, my girls have been asking to listen to their “kids songs”. I’m kind of glad, they don’t need to be listening to the songs on the radio. And actually I kind of like the CD myself. My 18 month old loves the ABC song- she tries to sing them along- it’s adorable!!
