Mineral Cosmetics from Jane Iredale

Moms, now you can look like you have had a full nights sleep, even though in reality, a few hours tops. Jane Iredale cosmetics has some fabulous mineral makeup that you absolutely must try. After, being up most the night with a baby , the dark circles and huge bags are a tale tale sign of sleep deprivation. Make them all go away, or at least appear to be gone with this awesome makeup from Jane Iredale. BabyGearToday was sent several products to try out and I was very impressed by them all. Jane Iredale cosmetics were the first full makeup line on the market that was able to benefit your skin as well as make you look beautiful. Mineral cosmetics are great because they won’t clog pores, have broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection, have complete coverage, which is great if you have acne, or other conditions. My skin, ever since I had my baby has become more acne prone and has red patches, so this makeup is awesome for me. What’s also great, if you have sensitive skin, minerals might be the way to go for you, because they are very soothing and have virtually no allergy risk. They are paraben free, will not support the growth of bacteria, environmentally friendly, and not tested on animals. Here are some of the great products I was fortunate enough to try:

Liquid Minerals: A light diffusing, soft focus mineral makeup, encapsulated with time-released antioxidants and phytosomes to help replenish the skin, reduce fine lines, wrinkles, pores, even out skin tone…make you look and feel gorgeous. Available in 18 different shades so no matter what your skin tone, you will find one that is perfect for you.

Pressed Mineral Powder: A concealer, sunscreen, foundation, and powder all in one. I really love the pressed powder, even though I have HUGE pores and I know it is probably not the best for me, I love the way it feels on my skin. It looks flawless, no shine, no orange line at my jawline, just beautiful skin.

Longest Lash Mascara: Sea minerals help conditions lashes to help them grow long and healthy. I definitely needed help in this area. My baby has the most beautiful long, thick, curly eye lashes I have ever seen. Everyone can definitely tell she did not get them from me. But thanks to the Longest Lash Mascara from Jane Iredale, they do look a lot longer than they truly are. I usually am not the mascara type because I have a lot of eye allergies, but I don’t seem to have a problem with this one.

PureGloss for Lips: With an organic vegetable oil base, natural ingredients, and tons of color choices, the PureGloss has become my favorite gloss for when I want to add a little color. I received the strawberry color gloss, I really like the color and it makes my lips feel extra moisturized- sure beats chapstick!

The next two products are a definite must have from someone with not the most luscious of lips.

More Lip Lip Plumper- LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Get all the plumpness of collagen without the needles. It is clear, super hydrating, and has a little zing to it. It contains spearmint and peppermint oils with ginger-root extract to stimulate circulation and that little tingle lets you know your lips are now plumping up.

And last but not least- Sugar&Butter. My absolute favorite! Yummy, yummy, yummy! A lip exfoliator/tinted plumper combo. The lip exfoliator is made of organic brown sugar and beeswax, made to made your lips healthier and moisturized. After you have exfoliated, slide on the yummy plumper to create a gorgeous finished look. The Sugar&Butter plumper contains a peptide that has be shown to increase moisture and stimulate collagen production. You can feel the slight tingle working as well in this plumper. My favorite- to me it taste like bubble gum.

I must admit, after diaper duty and house cleaning all day, it’s nice to be able to make myself feel a lot more beautiful with something as simple as makeup.
