Hip Hop Inspired Toy Line from Baby Jamz

Are you tired of all the musical baby toys out there? You have to check out these cool new toys from Baby Jamz. Baby Jamz is the first ever hip-hop inspired baby toy line for babies and toddlers. Matthew Knowles (Beyonce’s dad) has partnered with Planet Toys to bring a more hip-hop edge to nursery rhyme favorites. For instance: If that mocking bird don’t sing, mammas gonna buy you some new bling bling. Beyonce’s sister Solange is featured singing most of the lyrics. I received two products from the Baby Jamz line: The Baby Jamz Boom Box Shape Sorter and the Baby Jamz Key Chain. The first thing we opened was the boom box.

I couldn’t wait to see what it could do. My baby LOVES this toy. The shape sorter encourages your baby to complete three different nursery rhymes by placing the square, triangle and circle into the shape sorter, it won’t finish the song unless the shapes go into their corresponding slot. At first, it aggravated my daughter until she finally figured out what she had to do to get it to play, now every time she sees her boom box she brings it to me, her little arms going around and around for the wheels on the bus. The microphone on the side has sounds that your baby can add into the songs, it sounds like they are making a mix-tape. My daughter loves the HEY button. Now she figured out she can keep pressing one shape and it will repeat that lyric again, so we get to hear “the wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round” over and over, but it’s cute, maybe we have a little DJ on our hands. It also plays 1-2 buckle my shoe and twinkle twinkle little star. Your baby will love this toy when they first see it! Parental Advisory: The songs are really catchy-you will be singing them all day

The Baby Jamz Key Chain. A new take on the toy box classic. Three buttons on the face play hip hop melodies of nursery rhyme favorites. The two keys on the outside move around like real keys while the center key can be pulled outward to make a starting car sound. Both toys are great, my daughter loves playing with them both, we will definitely have to get the other toys from the Baby Jamz line. They have three other really cool baby toys that look fun, a cell phone (my baby would love that! She picks up one of her blocks that is kind of shaped like a phone and says “Heyyoo”, it’s adorable, I may have to go pick this one up soon). This cell phone plays three nursery rhymes by pressing one of two larger buttons. The Dance Mat and Mix Master Chair are also available. They look really cool also, the Dance Mat kind of reminds me of that game Dance Dance Revolution but for your baby. Not only fun, but a great source of physical exercises.
